http://ipjornal.com/tema/noticias-tecnologia/ciencia/page/ Recently one of my customer had the following error message when he was trying to recompose a pool of virtual desktops from a new patent virtual machine. ” Refit Operation resync failed “ Scanning through the infrastructure and logs quickly realized that the error was due to mismatched hardware version of new parent virtual machine and existing desktops that had already been deployed in the pool. The existing linked clone desktops were of hardware version 10 whereas the newer parent virtual machine was with virtual hardware version 8. It’s important to verify and ensure that when you try to recompose from a new parent virtual machine , hardware version of the new parent virtual machine should match with the existing linked clone desktops. Hardware version on the master virtual machine should never be a lower version than that of the hardware version on the existing linked clone View Desktop. Happy Recomposing !
